Do you have an avid reader in the 4th grade or entering the 4th grade? Do they also have a friend group that would enjoy being in an exclusive book club just for them?

I am introducing a Book Club opportunity for 4th graders for a small group of kiddos,

3-4 kids per group.

In person Summer Book Club Flyer
In person Summer Book Club Flyer

Included in the Book Club for the price of $120 - virtual / $130 - in person will be:

  • Brand new book order (not included for the virtual option)

  • Customized companion workbook

  • Customized completion Certificate

  • Passionate and experienced educator

  • 4 days of Book Club experience (1 hour per session)

  • Possible bonus goodies for the first few groups in the beta phase

Being a teacher, I loved the idea of doing book clubs with my students, however it was not always possible with curriculum and scheduling expectations. I'm happy that now I can do a book club on my own terms with enough time to dedicate to an enjoyable yet educational experience.

If you're interested in registering for your 4th grader (and friends?) to be a part of this wonderful opportunity, click on the registration link below:

I look forward to reading with you soon!

🌞 Summer is quickly approaching and it's never too early to start thinking about ways to help your child be successful for their next school year.

🥳 For the first time ever, I'm offering Summer Learning Workshops for Summer 2025! I'm excited to be providing this opportunity to help PreK/Kinder kiddos (who have absolutely stolen my heart unapologetically!) and 4th graders who have always held a special place with me as that was my favorite grade growing up.

📚 In these workshops I will be focusing on literacy concepts for both PreK/Kinder and 4th grade as well as some math concepts for PreK/Kinder.

Check out the available workshops for this summer! Sign up for the waitlist today to be the first to know about when I'll start them up! https://tinyurl.com/SummerTutoringWaitlist

Workshops are primarily locally in Sumter, South Carolina, however, if there is a high demand for virtual options and/or surrounding cities, I'll be happy to make those arrangements. 💻

School may be ending, but that doesn't mean the learning has to stop there. Jumpstart your child's success for the next school year, by signing up for the waitlist for my Summer Tutoring Workshops!

I can't wait to see so many of you this summer! Don't forget to sign up for that waitlist!

Are you getting close to that fast-paced time of the school year where it's test prep season for STAAR or state testing?

I am getting ready to walk upon that testing doorstep myself and this is usually the time where I get creative and design activities that fit the needs of my students. Well, I finally decided to give sharing those resources with other teachers a try. Designing products that meet my students where they are, yet encourages them to get to where I need them to be is a specialty of mine. Allowing my students the space and guidance to think for themselves and with each other on a piece of text is important, because we all have seen some speedy work that didn't leave room for true comprehension to be done. The resources I am in the process of making allow space and time to process the text and/or skill focused on and an opportunity for students to reflect upon their learning in some way.

Having a growth mindset is important for students, especially during this time of the last big push before they officially show what they have learned from the school year without any help from us. My activities will provide hints of growth mindset elements for students to not only see their growth, but also to reflect upon their struggles and how they can improve upon it for the future.

If you are looking for:

  • reading comprehension resources (ELA / RLA)

  • TEK / standard based activities

  • questions based on STAAR / state testing

  • writing and grammar activities

  • tailored to 4th and 5th graders

  • differentiated activities

  • and more

Then you are in the right place. I have so many ideas for future resources that I plan to push out in the coming months to help us all make it through this testing season as well as encourage our students to do the best they can and reach the potential we know they are capable of.
