The person behind Growing Together with Miss Orr is Brittney Orr. She is a mother of an intelligent and caring son and a fur baby named Max. Education has been a part of her life since she can remember. From the little kid days of teaching "algebra" to her stuffed animals to the current days of teaching a room full of students. Reading and writing has always been a passion of hers as well from being a student to being a teacher. 

Teaching reading and writing has been an everyday occurrence for the decade plus years of teaching she has under her belt. Her career spans across 4 grade levels, 5 different schools, 4 districts, 3 different states, and every subject.

• 5 years teaching 4th grade reading, writing (ELAR / RLA) and social studies

• Almost 4 years teaching every subject to 5th graders

• 1 year teaching every subject to kindergartners

• 1 year teaching every subject to prek

 

Growth Mindset is another big part of her teaching and she is always encouraging her students to reflect on their work, consider how they did, and think about how they can improve in the future to meet their potential.​

By incorporating all the experience she has acquired over the years into her TPT resources, she hopes that they will be beneficial to all teachers where ever they are in their teaching career. Helping students is a passion of hers and now she hopes to spread that passion beyond her own classroom and into yours.
